Vols Offensive Lineman Trey Smith Takes Full Contact in Practice

Welcomed sight at Vols practice on Tuesday. Offensive lineman Trey Smith was able to handle full contact, at least during the media portion of practice. Smith missed all of spring drills with blood clots on his lungs. He joined fall camp on a limited basis, but apparently he’s cleared now for full speed contact. Smith is regarded as one of the top offensive linemen in America. Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt is scheduled to meet with the media on Wednesday, and he’ll likely have more on Smith’s official status.
