Miami, FL-(WDEF-TV) With the way college football players hit the portal after the season, the Vols are fortunate back-up quarterback Joe Milton hung around.
He’ll replace the injured Hendon Hooker Friday night in the Orange Bowl.
Milton hopes to make waves against Clemson, kind of like New’s 12’s Brian Armstrong, who is in South Florida following the Vols.
Several years ago when LeBron said he was gonna take us down to South Beach I’m not sure if he realized how windy it was.
Well I guess the beach makes up for it. It’s something Tennessee and Clemson have been able to enjoy.
Speaking of Tennessee they’ll be quarterback by Joe Milton area it was from the area and you’ll be looking to pull out. Trying to impress his family and look for that starting job because Coach Heupel says it’s always a competition.
Heupel:”Joe has just been great all season long. I think he’s a unique story today’s atmosphere in college football. Someone that talented it’s had some success of the quarterback position ends up being moved and the number two spot. It’s going to season valuing is that cares about me, these guys can help develop me. I can perform in the Dolphins my traits fitness I need to stay the course because I need to grow.
Milton:”The amount of reps I get. I get more reps than I did when I wasn’t starting. That’s pretty much the only thing that’s changed. Nothing else changed. My leadership role has been the same. It’s just viewed differently now from others. But for me myself, I’m still the same person.”
Brian: Milton has done that job in that role since transferring into Michigan. Never Miami I think the waves calling me the wind certainly is so I think I’m gonna go hit the beach enough of this whole Work thing.
