Vols Quarterback Harrison Bailey Enters Transfer Portal

Vols back-up quarterback Harrison Bailey is leaving Rocky Top. He announced he’s entering the transfer portal.

Bailey’s name has already been removed from the Vols roster listed on their website.

Bailey was a five-star recruit, that Jeremy Pruitt brought to Rocky Top, but his career never took off.

He threw for roughly 600 yards and four touchdowns in two seasons.

His skill set really doesn’t fit Josh Heupel’s up-tempo system.

Bailey is the fourth quarterback to leave Tennessee in the last year.

Just further depleting an already thin roster for Coach Heupel.

Said Heupel:”For sure this is the thinnest football team based off of numbers that I’ve been involved with as a coach or as a player. At the end of the day, there’s no asterisk to the season right? Our players and our coaches. It is what it is. You’re either good enough or you’re not when you walk off the field on Saturday.”
