Vols Safety Jakobe Thomas Headed For the Transfer Portal

Tennessee is losing yet another safety to the transfer portal.

Jakobe Thomas is reportedly leaving Knoxville after just one season on Rocky Top.

He arrived last year from MTSU.

Thomas was a projected starter next fall.

He played in all 13 games for Tennessee last season.

If he does in fact depart, he’ll become the third Vols defensive back to enter the spring portal.
