Volunteers Provide Meals at Chatt Foundation

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Two young men stepped up to help the needful in our community.

Kenny Bell and Luke Stepney are Boyd Buchanan grads. They say the Lord put it on their hearts to help.

They teamed up with Blue Orleans and the Chatt Foundation to provide over 200 meals for the disadvantaged this Christmas Eve.

They own a lawn care company together. They say this is not the last time they’ll be here.

Luke Stepney told us, “Me and my partner Kenny Bell here, we want to make this a yearly endeavor. And honestly this wouldn’t be possible if the Lord didn’t lay it on our hearts, so that’s all I have to say.”

Another local charity was present at the event handing out shoes of various sizes for the homeless.
