Walker County authorities searching for missing man
WALKER COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — Authorities in North Georgia are searching for a man who they say has gone missing.
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office said 59-year-old Charles Wheeler has been missing since February 27, 2024.

They add that Wheeler was last seen on Highway 151 at the Pit Stop Store. This is around the Highway 136 east area of Lafayette, Georgia.
Wheeler is known to visit homeless shelters in the Chattanooga area, specifically around McCallie Avenue, according to authorities.
He is approximately 6’5″, weighs 140 pounds, has brown hair and green eyes.
