The GBI investigated Ferguson’s online activity and then searched his home in Walker County.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) warned that he may have possession of child sexual abuse material.

Walker County deputies, the GBI’s Calhoun office and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision assisted in executing his search warrant.

The GBI’s Internet Crimes Against Children task force is continually investigating to identify those involved in trading child abuse material.

Authorities ask anyone with information on child exploitation to contact the GBI at 404-270-8870 or submit a tip online. You may also make a report with the NCMEC at CyberTipline.org.
