Walker County school season begins, drivers be alert
WALKER COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — Walker County students returned to school on Thursday.
As the new school season begins, drivers should be alert during morning and afternoon commutes.
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office says it’s important to be aware of school buses on the roads once again.
Also returning is the possibility for heavy traffic in school zones.
Many other schools will start back Friday, such as Bradley and Dade County Schools.
Others will begin next week, such as Hamilton County and Catoosa County Schools.
