Walker County Sheriff Offers New Details on Domestic Shooting

Lafayette (WDEF)  Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson identifies the couple involved in a deadly shooting over the weekend.

Detectives found the body of 38 year old Christina Michelle Denson in the bedroom of her home Sunday on Kemp road in LaFayette.

She had been shot once in the neck.

They are charging her husband, 41-year old Steven Marcus Denson, with the shooting.

Investigators believe she had been dead for between 24 to 36 hours when they found her body.
