Walker detectives make arrests in stolen musical gear

LAFAYETTE, Georgia (WDEF) – Walker County investigators have charged two people with stealing music equipment from a storage unit in Rock Spring.

40 year old Timothy Sweeney and 33 year old Kara Christina Mayes face charges of 2nd degree Burglary.

They are both from Summerville.

Detectives have recovered some of the stolen equipment.

But they are still looking for a set of JBL speakers, EV speakers, studio mixer and a guitar foot pedal.
