Walker Valley High School vs. Tyner Academy

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Walker Valley rolled into Tyner Friday night hoping to fix up a defense that’s giving up nearly 40-points a game.

The Rams on the other hand are hoping to bounce back from an ugly, 40-7 loss to Boyd last week.

It would be a miserable Homecoming for Tyner.

They are down 34 -0 under a minute before halftime.

Rams threatening but the pass in the endzone is intercepted by Mason Oran.

So, it stayed 34 -0 at the half.

Mustangs kick to start the 3rd, nobody is up for Tyner.

Why not try an onside kick?

And the Mustangs recover, Walker Valley going for the kill.

Later in the quarter, still 34 – 0, Mustangs run the reverse with Bryce Nunnelly, good call here.

Nunnelly almost scores, a 35 yard pickup.

Mustangs will punch it in, Alex king with the 12 yard run.

That made it 41 – 0.

Tyner must have liked the reverse because, they run one.

Keiontae Halfacre, he’ll rumble down near the goal line.

Rams will call Halfacre’s number again.

He goes in for the touchdown to make it 41 – 7.

Walker Valley goes on to win 41 – 14.
