Deputies accuse four suspects of taking $1,000 worth of goods from Walmart
SUMMERVILLE, Georgia (WDEF) – The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office has charged four men with shoplifting more than $1,000 worth of items from a Walmart.
The Summerville Times reports the suspects did not keep a very low profile.
Investigators saw them pushing out shopping carts loaded with a big screen, clothes and beer out of the store.
They ditched the beer in the parking lot and loaded the rest into a purple SUV.
Then they almost hit another car peeling out of the parking lot.
But the least subtle move was the vanity license plate that read “I owe, I owe, so off to work I go.”
