Wear Star Wars jerseys, the Lookouts will

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — It’s Star Wars Night at the Lookouts Friday — and the Looks going be looking real good in their special Yoda jerseys.

Fans can’t buy these in the store like other specialty jerseys. Instead, the game worn ones will be signed and auctioned off on the Lookouts website for the Alzheimer’s Association. Bid on them, you must.

It’s also Paint the Park Purple night in honor of Alzheimer’s awareness, so fans are encouraged to wear purple with their Star Wars gear.

“The idea was born in 2020,” the Lookouts director of marketing Alex Tainish said. “Our hope was to do them that season. We obviously didn’t play. It’s kind of born out the Mandalorian and the Baby Yoda/Grogu craze, and it just kind of re-inspired everyone about Yoda and that character, and we had the opportunity to put him on the jersey, and we thought, that’s too cool to pass up.”

Local Star Wars fans will also be in costume for photo-ops.
