West 38th Street shooting

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police investigate a shooting at 400 West 38th Street Wednesday afternoon.

It happened right before 1 o’clock.

Officers arrived and started canvasing the area.

A 17-year-old male victim was found with two gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say no suspect information is available right now. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
