West Star Aviation expanding aircraft services at Chattanooga Metro Airport
Expansion promises 100 more jobs
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – West Star Aviation is expanding their operations at Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.
The governor’s Office announced the $17 million investment that promises 100 new jobs on Monday.
West Star is a full-service aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company.
After six years in Chattanooga, the company plans to retrofit one of its hangars with a new design studio and build another hangar for a new shop.
The company has 250 workers at the airport facility now.
