White House, Capital Hill evacuated amid security threats
The White House briefing room was evacuated Tuesday during the middle of the daily press briefing.
A Secret Service agent entered the briefing room and interrupted press secretary Josh Earnest, instructing everyone to exit the White House.
A Secret Service dog was brought in to sniff around the room.
Officials eventually allowed everyone back inside.
Reporters were told they were evacuated because a bomb threat to the briefing room was called in shortly before 2 p.m.
