Whitfield County Stabbing Investigation
Dalton, GA (WDEF) Whitfield County deputies say a man was stabbed in the neck with a machete.
It happened Wednesday at an apartment complex on Florence Avenue.
Officials say they found Richard Darrah bleeding from the neck.
They were told three or four men came to the door, and Darrah answered it.
One man asked Darrah, "Do you remember me?"
He said no.
Officials say that’s when he was stabbed.
The suspects fled.
Darrah was treated at the hospital.
Deputies continue to investigate; looking for a motive.
