Whitfield County uses March 30th to make up snow day

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – The student holiday previously scheduled for Whitfield County schools on March 30th has been cancelled.

The school system announced on Monday that they will use it instead to make up for a snow last week.

March 30th was supposed to be a Professional Development day only for staff.

But the system held it as a provisional school make up day.

That Friday is before Spring Break the next week.
