Whitfield firefighter charged with molesting three children

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Whitfield County investigators have charged a county firefighter with molestation.

Deputies arrested 34 year old William Taylor White of Chatsworth at work on Saturday.

The investigation began on February 7th when a grandmother brought in a young girl saying she had been molested.

Investigators identified three alleged victims, ages 10, 11 and 12.

They have charged White with 5 counts of Child Molestation and four counts of Sexual Battery of a Child under the age of 16.

Investigators say they believe there could be more victims.

As of now, the Whitfield County Fire Department has suspended White without pay.

He remains in jail with no bond.
