Woman charged in credit card fraud tied to 99-year-old

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A woman has been charged with financial exploitation of a 99 year old woman.

Police say 66 year old Glenda Stoudemire charged over 11-thousand dollars on the credit card of the victim.

Stoudemire told police that the woman gave her the card to pay for gas and a car repair.

But they found charges on it to several department stores and Amazon.

Stoudemire had been making the minimal payments on the debt but wasn’t close to paying any of it off.

To make it more confusing, police say that Stoudemire is an ex-girlfriend of the husband of the victim’s daughter in law.

The daughter in law provided the financial documentation against Stoudemire.
