Woman charged with making false report against Rockwood officer

ROCKWOOD, Tennessee (WDEF) A woman has been charged with making a false accusation against a Rockwood police officer.

Christy Hunter has been indicted on charges of Filing a False Report and Retaliation for Past Action.

Back in January, she made a complaint that the officer arresting her for shoplifting sexually assaulted her.

TBI agents investigated her claim and found they had no merit.

She was indicted on Monday and arrested on Wednesday.
