Woman displaced after home catches fire
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A house caught fire Monday morning in Chattanooga, displacing the homeowner.
The fire took place at a home in the Glenwood neighborhood, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department. It was located on E 5th Street.
The CFD said the fire happened just after 9 a.m.
The woman who owned the home said no one was inside. There were no injuries in the incident.
However, the home faces moderate damage, CFD said.
The fire department said they had the fire out within minutes of arriving.
The CFD is investigating to determine what caused the fire.
Additionally, the American Red Cross will be helping the woman impacted.
