Woman killed by falling tree

HARRISON, Tennessee (WDEF) – A woman has been killed by a fallen tree in the Harrison area.

It happened around 11 AM in the 7300 block of Landlock Drive near Micasa Lane.

The victim was penned under the tree when Hamilton County officers arrived.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A tree service company was in the area, but we don’t know yet if they were involved.

The Hamilton County Criminal Investigations Division are looking into circumstances of the incident.
