Woman killed when vehicle overturns on interstate in Alabama

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say a woman has been killed when her vehicle overturned on an interstate near Prattville.

Alabama state troopers told Al.com that 39-year-old Sparkle Bailey was killed Saturday morning when a sports utility vehicle she was driving struck the concrete barrier on I-65 and overturned.

Authorities say Bailey was not wearing a seat belt before she was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers are continuing to investigate.
