Woman trapped in her own apartment by wreck

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WDEF) – A woman had to be rescued out of her apartment this morning in Huntsville.

Firefighers were called to the complex when a resident called saying she couldn’t get out.

She says a car hit her front door, but was long gone by the time firefighters arrived.

Crews had to pry their way in, but did eventually free the woman.

She was not hurt by the wreck, just trapped.
