Woodmore Elementary

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Christmas came early for Woodmore Elementary School students.
The school got a 10-thousand dollar grant from the Front Porch Alliance.
School leaders say they’ll use the money for a reading program, and to buy Chrome books for each English-Language Arts Class in grades 3rd through 5th.
They will also buy blazers for students who were inducted into the National Elementary Honor Society.
Students will wear their special blazers every Thursday, beginning in December, to represent their role in the Honor Society.
