Woods fire threatens homes in Walden’s Ridge area

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WDEF) — Multiple agencies responded to help contain a woods fire in the area of Walden Farm Road on Wednesday.

Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services and the Tennessee Forestry Department assisted the Loan Oak Volunteer Fire Department.

WRES said residential homes were threatened by the fire.

Crews were working to contain the fire as of Wednesday afternoon.
