World Restoration Center Church provides bags of groceries for community Saturday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – World Restoration Center Church provided bags of groceries for people in their community Saturday.

The World Restoration Center Church is hoping to make sure the people in their community have food for thanksgiving.

The event was from 10:30 – 12:30.

One member of the church was outside the church making sure folks driving by knew that this resource was available.

Pastor E. Jonathan Thomas says, they host this event because “important during this time of the year, when people commit suicide at the highest rate of any time of the year and we want to let them know that Jesus loves them, we do too and to be a light in a time of maybe darkness in somebody’s life. To encourage them during this time to let them know they can make it and things are going to get better.”

The pastor and other members of the congregation hope that if someone is having a tough time, they remember that their doors are always open.
