Student Charged With Bringing Throwing Knives to School

Ooltewah, TN (WDEF) –  A student from East Hamilton Middle/High school faces charges for bringing dangerous weapons to school.
The school got a tip that the male juvenile was in possession of an illegal weapon.
A search turned up 3 knives typically used for throwing purposes.
The School Resource Officer took the student into custody.
He was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds.
