Cheering For Mocs On St. Patrick’s Day

CHATTANOOGA, TN, (WDEF) – Wings and beer are the big sellers at Buds Sports Bar on on Brainerd and today it’s even bigger celebration. The Mocks are playing in March Madness.

“Everybody relaxing, having fun, putting on silly hats, you know, just enjoying themselves,” said Julie Kelly of Bud’s Sports Bar.

Their tradition of celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day has been ongoing for four decades. Today, basketball is the center of attention.

Fans are hoping that a little bit of lucky charm is thrown their way today.

“Safe clean fun, just to celebrate, whether they’re Irish or not, they’re going to come out and have a good time with us.”

Be careful, because if you’re not wearing blue and gold, which make green, you might just get pinched.
