Dade County Schools Superintendent Retiring

DADE COUNTY, Ga (WDEF) – Dade County Superintendent has announced she will be retiring at the end of the year. 

Dr. Jan Harris joined Dade county schools in 2016 and nearly five years later she will be stepping down from her position as leader of the school district. 

Since her position will not be up until December 31st, the school board has a few months to find a replacement. 

Dr. Harris announced her resignation to the school board on Monday night.
