12th annual Westside Easter Egg Hunt to honor renowned community leaders

Coogi Doogi joins News 12’s Amelia Greer as he invites everyone to the Westside community for the 12th annual Westside Easter Egg Hunt  on Easter Sunday, April 20th at 4 p.m.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) –  Coogi Doogi brings back the annual Westside Easter Egg Hunt for the 12th year in a row.

Originally started in 2014 by the late Bro Bro with just 15 to 20 kids, the annual event has grown to welcome hundreds of kids while giving back to the community. The event will honor renowned community leaders, Coogi Doogi’s grandmother and mother who passed away in 2025 and 2019 respectively.

The event relies on community donations to provide a fun event for all the children. Free food will be provided, and a cash prize for the kids that find a golden egg!

The event will be on Easter Sunday from 4 P.M. to 5 P.M. at the Westside Baseball Field on 1195 Grove Street, Chattanooga, TN.

To donate or support the event, contact Coogi Doogi by email at coogidoogi@gmail.com or reach out to him on Facebook.
