18 wheeler burns outside Chattanooga business

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A tractor trailer caught on fire this morning outside Chattanooga Labeling Systems.

It happened around 6:30 AM at 120 Parmenas Lane.

Firefighters were particularly worried about a large propane tank between the truck and the building.

Employees with the company tried to put it our with fire extinguishers, but that didn’t work.

But the firefighters quickly got it under control.

The 18 wheeler was a total loss, but the propane tank was saved.

The trailer was holding empty glass bottles.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
