18 wheeler overturns on I 24, again
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) For the second day in a row, an 18 wheeler has overturned on I 24 west of Chattanooga.
Yesterday, a tanker rolled near the Welcome Center before Dawn.
Today, a truck flipped on the interstate near the I 59 merge after 8 AM
Troopers tell us there are no injuries this time.
But it did spill thousands of pounds of sheetrock on the interstate.
Troopers have been diverting traffic heading toward Chattanooga off of both of I 24 at Nickajack and I 59 coming out of Dade County.
They expect to have it reopened sometime after noon.
