2 Catoosa County Detectives Resign After Inappropriate Relations With Witnesses

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – Two Catoosa County detectives have resigned after admitting to inappropriate sexual relations with female witnesses.

Sheriff Gary R. Sisk released a statement Wednesday that Detective Tim Deal and Lieutenant Freddie Roden have both resigned from the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office.

He reports, “On separate occasions and on separate cases each Detective had an inappropriate relation with a witness of a case they were investigating. When confronted each man admitted to their indiscretions.”

The Sheriff’s Office states it will work with the District Attorney’s Office to adequately resolve any cases these two Detectives still have pending to the best of their ability.
