200 kids received free swim lessons through the Ironman Foundation
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)– 200 kids received free swim lessons through the Ironman Foundation. 200 kids received free swim lessons through the Ironman Foundation. A Chattanooga Native sponsored these lessons at Walden Park this afternoon.
This foundation comes to cities where Ironman competitions are held to give back to the community and create future triathletes. Darrell Freeman grew up going to this very park.

Freeman is competing in the half Ironman Sunday but has competed in the full Ironman 6 times. The kick off event for this weekends festivities was today at the Tennessee Aquarium.
