One Person Shot in Bledsoe County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Law enforcement across two counties are investigating a Friday night shooting that sent a person to the hospital.

A Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office spokesman says deputies were called to a location on Dayton Pike for a report that someone had been shot.

That victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Public Information Officer Matt Lea tells News 12 after doing some investigating, the sheriff’s office learned the actual shooting took place in Bledsoe County.
