3 guilty pleas for a pair of deadly shootings in 2018

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Three suspects have agreed to plea deals for a pair of shootings in 2018.

Prosecutors say Sherquilla Hubbard drove Kevion Hubbard and Montrell Williams to the home of the Crayton Brothers on Brandt Street in August of 2018.

She got out of the car and got into an argument with the brothers.

The Hubbard and Williams got out and opened fire, hitting both brothers.

Kevin Crayton was killed.

The trio then fled the scene in the car.

But Hubbard was involved in another fatal shooting a couple of months before.

In that case, Christopher Robinson was killed during a home invasion on Hickory Valley Road.

But he did not fire the fatal shot (Miles Hankins is serving 30 years for that).

Sherquilla Hubbard pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment for driving the car.

She was given a suspended 6 year sentence.

Montrell Williams pleaded guilty to second degree murder of Kevin Crayton.

He was sentenced to 20 years.

Kevion Hubbard pleaded guilty to second degree murder in both shootings.

He gets 30 years for each murder, but will serve the sentences at the same time.
