4 Shootings in Chattanooga This Weekend; 1 Dead, at least 5 Injured

Chattanooga (WDEF) Chattanooga police deal with another violent weekend. Shootings claimed the life of one person and left at least five others injured.

The most recent incident occurred late last night on 15th Avenue in East Lake. No information about the victim/victims or suspect has been released yet.

The most serious shooting happened early Sunday on Wilder Street. Officers found someone dead at the scene. A second victim went to the hospital in a private vehicle with non-life threatening injuries.

Shootings also occurred on Ohls Avenue and Houston Street. The three victims in those incidents suffered non-life threatening wounds.
