Firefighters battle house fire in Lookout Valley

LOOKOUT VALLEY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Firefighters were called to O’Grady Drive in Lookout Valley on Sunday afternoon for a smoke investigation.

When the Chattanooga Fire Department arrived, firefighters say they found the two story home involved with heavy fire and smoke.

Fire officials say no one was home at the time of the fire.

The Chattanooga Fire Department says the home suffered extensive damage.

It took 9 fire companies 45 minutes to get the fire under control.

The Fire Department says there were no injures.

The cause of the fire is under investigation; no dollar loss is available at this time.
