$50,000 Powerball Winner in Smyrna

Nashville, TN (WDEF) – As the Powerball jackpot continues to grow–now at $233 million–thousands win prizes in the game’s eight other levels.

This includes a lucky player in Smyrna who won $50,000 last night by matching four of the five white numbers drawn plus the red Powerball.

No information about the winner is available until the prize is claimed.

In other lottery news, a Ohio player won the $143 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday.

The Lottery has raised more than $4.4 billion to fund designated education programs, including after-school programs, scholarships, and the Governor’s Drive to 55 initiatives.
