73 year old tied up in East Ridge home invasion

EAST RIDGE, Tennessee (WDEF) – East Ridge Police are investigating a home invasion Sunday on Moseley Circle.

They say a couple knocked on the door of the home at 3110 Mosley around 10 AM and then forced their way in.

The male was armed with a handgun.

They used zip ties to bind the wrists of the 73 year old resident and then ransacked the home.

The victim says they were looking for money and drugs.

But they ran when the victim’s son and girlfriend arrived.

The home invaders fled in a newer silver Infiniti with a Walker County Georgia license plate withe the TLE71 in it.

It had tinted windows and an Alabama lanyard hanging from the rear mirror.

The male is described as white, 25-35, 5’9″, 150 lbs wearing a white and black ball cap and gray jacket.

The female was white, 25-35, 5’5″, 125, blonde, wearing a burgundy shirt and jeans and carrying a bright orange backpack.
