Georgia Heavy Favorites Against Rival Tennessee

The Vols have surrendered forty plus points in each of their two games against a power five school, while Georgia has scored forty or more points in each of their two games against a power five school. So guess who the heavy favorite is when the Dawgs and Vols clash Saturday between the hedges.

Since the Vols lost 47-23 to Florida, odds-makers made second ranked Georgia a 32 point favorite Saturday against Tennessee.
Just don’t tell Dawgs coach Kirby Smart.
Said Smart:”The focus for our players is this is always a tough, physical game. It’s always this kind of way. It has been close for years.”
Said Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt:”I would say everybody associated with Tennessee has got to be disappointed in how things turned out Saturday. Nobody is more disappointed than the men that are in this building.”
Georgia wasn’t exactly awesome last Saturday, beating Missouri 43-29
Said Smart:”We didn’t play the run real good last week. At the end of the day, stopping the run is an attitude, and a disposition you create from within your team.”
So what’s the attitude of the Vols after that blow-out loss to Florida.
Said Pruitt:”You know I saw it yesterday from walking through the office. Our offices are littered with our players in there watching tape. Had no idea they were up there. Got groups of guys that has got them in there. Talking about players being leaders. I guess they organized it.”
The Vols defense will need a positive attitude against Jake Fromm, who is completing 72 percent of his passes.
Said Pruitt:”I thought last year. I thought Jake Fromm out of all the quarterbacks we played, I thought he was probably the most efficient quarterback that we played against. He’s very accurate.”
Said Smart:”I think he’s able to make quicker, smarter decisions. He has processed the information really quick. He understands what defenses are trying to do. He’s in the second year in our system. He has got more experienced wide-outs.”

The Vols and Bulldogs kick at 3:30pm on News 12 Now.
