Vols Jeremy Pruitt Has Plenty of Respect For Friend and Dawgs Coach Kirby Smart

Georgia and Tennessee may be big rivals, but the head coaches are not. The Dawgs Kirby Smart and the Vols Jeremy Pruitt were assistants together at Alabama. Pruitt even drove Smart’s wife to the hospital when she was pregnant and nearly gave birth. The Vols head coach has a lot of respect for the Bulldogs Boss. Said Pruitt:”We worked together for six years. Kirby is a really good football coach. He’s a very hard worker. He focuses on the details. He’s a good coach on the field. He’s a good scheme guy, and it’s not just defensively.”
