Heritage Sweeps LaFayette to Claim Region Softball Tournament Title

Ringgold, GA-(WDEF-TV) The Heritage softball team beat LaFayette 4-2 and 6-0 on Wednesday to claim the Region 6-AAAA tournament title. In game two, the Generals scored four runs in the top of the first, including an RBI single from Reagan Armour. Heritage added another run in the third when Rachel Gibson hit one off the wall in center. That scored Katie Proctor to make it 5-0. Then in the fifth inning, Mallory Lowe added an RBI single over short to make the final 6-0. Rachel Gibson got the win in the circle.
