Marla Maples makes cameo in awesomely fun Dalton music video

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) – The Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce has rolled out an awesomely fun music video, “When you’re in D-Town.”

It’s an all locals video.

It even features a couple well-known faces.

The father of the carpet industry in Dalton makes a cameo, Bob Shaw.

You can see him holding up a cell phone and facetiming Marla Maples.

The video took a couple of months to make.

“The idea came really over the summer about doing a video that would really make our citizens feel proud, happy about the place we live. We hired a local songwriter, a local videographer and they wrote the song and did the music video for us and it’s upbeat. It’s a very catchy tune, but it highlights our community in sort of a fun way,” Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Rob Bradham said.
