Stabbing, and then the house was set on fire
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Bradley County investigators have charged a man with attempted murder after a bizarre confrontation today between house mates.
Michael Park and another man lived together at a home on McClanahan Drive near Highway 60 toward Georgetown.
Deputies were called to the home around 9 AM on a reported stabbing.
While they were investigating, they discovered flames that weren’t there when they arrived.
They believe Park stabbed the other man, and then set the home on fire after the officers arrived.
The victim was taken to the hospital but was expected to be released later today.
The home suffered heavy smoke and water damage, but firefighters saved it.
Michael Park faces charges of Attempted Murder and False Reports.
