Chattanoogan Chris Devaney will be Special Assistant to Gov. Bill Lee
NASHVILLE (WDEF) – Tennessee Governor-elect Bill Lee has announced four more positions in his new administration.
And one is a Chattanoogan.
Chris Devaney will serve as a Special Assistant to the Governor.
He was Campaign Manager for Lee’s gubernatorial run and deputy director of his transition.
The new job is a cabinet-level position, which will include legislative affairs.
Devaney was Executive Director of CNP Haiti, a Christian mission organization that battled childhood malnutrition.
He chaired the Tennessee Republican Party from 2009-2015 and was an aide to both Senator bob Corker and Senator Fred Thompson.
