Nephew charged with shooting his uncle in Rossville

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Catoosa County investigators have charged a nephew with killing his uncle on Sunday morning.

It happened at a home on Steele Road in Rossville just after 9 AM.

Deputies found 60 year old Somvang Vorachak with a gunshot wound to the chest.

They performed CPR but he later died from the injury.

Deputies determined that he got into a domestic dispute with his nephew, 37 year old Bounmy Manhrasamy, who was living with him.

They arrested the nephew for murder and possession of a firearm during a felony.
