Georgia Defensive Back Deandre Baker Sitting Out Sugar Bowl

Georgia will be without one of their best defenders in the Sugar Bowl. Head coach Kirby Smart announced today that senior defensive back Deandre Baker is skipping the contest even though he is with the team in New Orleans. Baker is sitting out to avoid any possible injury. Baker is expected to be a first round draft pick.He won the Jim Thorpe Award which goes to the nation’s top DB.
